QR-код приходит на e-mail сразу после покупки. Установите eSIM до поездки, подключившись к Wi-Fi:

1. Откройте «Настройки» → «Сотовая связь» → «Добавить eSIM».
2. Нажмите «Использовать QR-код» и отсканируйте QR-код из письма. Если сканирование не работает, нажмите «Ввести данные вручную» и введите адрес SM-DP+ и код активации из того же письма.
3. Назовите новую линию, например «Поездка», и оставьте домашнюю SIM основной линией для звонков и SMS.
4. По прибытии выберите туристическую eSIM для сотовых данных и включите для неё роуминг данных.

Bahrain is a compact country with near-universal mobile coverage and 4G penetration above 98%. Expect reliable signal at the financial district, City Centre Bahrain mall, the Avenues, the Bahrain National Museum, Al Fateh Mosque, and the Bahrain Fort. Coverage holds across all the main causeways and ring roads.

The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM works at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir on 4G/LTE and 5G, including the main grandstands, paddock area, and surrounding fan zones. Network providers in Bahrain consistently expand capacity around the F1 weekend in March because of the traffic surge. Expect occasional congestion in the busiest grandstand sections during peak race hours, which is normal for any major event venue worldwide. The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM runs on Zain, one of Bahrain's three major mobile networks alongside Batelco and STC. Zain has solid 4G/LTE and 5G coverage across Manama and the main tourist areas where most travelers spend their time. Batelco has the largest customer base, and STC has slightly stronger 5G in some areas, but for the typical Bahrain itinerary covering Manama, the souqs, the F1 circuit, and the malls, Zain handles all the routes you'll actually take.

The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM supports 4G, LTE, and 5G across Bahrain. 5G is widely deployed in Manama, Bahrain Bay, Seef, and major commercial districts, with average download speeds well above what most travel use cases need. Outside the capital and main urban areas, your phone falls back to 4G/LTE, which still handles streaming, video calls, and navigation without issue. The 5G difference matters most for large file uploads and HD video streaming.

For a typical 2 to 3-day Bahrain trip, the 1-day, 3-day, or 5-day Unlimited plan is the most popular choice because it removes the data-counting question entirely. For 7-day stays, 5 GB is comfortable for daily Uber, Careem, Google Maps, WhatsApp, and casual photo uploads. Heavy users uploading F1 weekend content or working remotely should pick 10 GB or larger. Bahrain is small and compact, so navigation data consumption is much lower than larger Gulf trips.

Local SIMs at the airport cost between 2 and 7 BHD ($5–$19), and the registration process at Batelco, STC, or Zain kiosks takes 10 to 20 minutes including the biometric step.
