About Asia eSIM

The eSIM for the Asia provides you with access to 4 to 50 GB Data (depending on the plan chosen), without physically changing the SIM card in your phone.

The eSIM plans are valid for 30 days and work across the following 12 countries in the Asia. The eSIM plan also provides you with Free Incoming calls (with UK based mobile number) in addition to the data.

All you need is an eSIM compatible mobile handset. In order to purchase the eSIM, just complete the transaction here and an eSIM QR code will be emailed to you via email with instructions to install on your phone.

Once installed, you can start using data on the eSIM in Asia immediately. The validity of the eSIM shall start from the day when you start using it in the Asia.

Как работает eSIM для путешествий по Азии?

После покупки продукта eTravelsim клиенты получат уникальный QR-код по электронной почте. Этот код будет отправлен на зарегистрированный адрес электронной почты, указанный при покупке. В письме также будут содержаться подробные инструкции по установке продукта. Чтобы начать использовать продукт, отсканируйте QR-код.

Что такое eSIM?

eSIM (встроенная SIM-карта) — это виртуальная SIM-карта, встроенная в смартфоны и смарт-часы. В отличие от обычной SIM-карты, eSIM настраивается удалённо: тариф можно подключить или сменить без замены пластиковой карты. Это удобно в поездках и позволяет хранить несколько номеров на одном устройстве. eSIM поддерживают не все устройства, поэтому перед покупкой проверьте совместимость.

Как активировать eSIM?

После покупки вы получите QR-код на e-mail. Отсканируйте его камерой телефона, чтобы установить eSIM на устройство. eSIM активируется, и срок действия тарифа начинается, при первом подключении к сети в пункте назначения, поэтому её можно установить ещё до поездки.

Как проверить баланс eSIM?

Войдите в личный кабинет с адресом электронной почты, который вы указали при покупке eSIM, и нажмите кнопку просмотра баланса (View Balance) рядом с заказом. Также можно написать на support@etravelsim.com, указав номер заказа.

Как пополнить тариф eSIM?

Многие тарифы можно пополнить на нашей странице пополнения. Если для вашего тарифа там нет пополнения, напишите на support@etravelsim.com, указав номер заказа, и мы поможем.

Нужно ли предоставлять документы?

Нет. Однако мы заботимся о безопасности клиентов: для защиты от мошенничества мы можем запросить подтверждение личности, если платёжная система отметит транзакцию как подозрительную.

В этом случае мы попросим вас пройти проверку — например, предоставить действительный документ, удостоверяющий личность, или паспорт. Можно ли раздавать интернет (точка доступа) на безлимитных тарифах?

Безлимитные тарифы рассчитаны на использование на одном устройстве и не поддерживают раздачу интернета (точку доступа). Если вам нужна точка доступа, выберите пакет с фиксированным объёмом данных — на них раздача разрешена. Если остались вопросы, наша служба поддержки всегда готова помочь.

Как установить eSIM на iPhone?

QR-код приходит на почту сразу после покупки. Установите eSIM до поездки, подключившись к Wi-Fi:

  1. Откройте Настройки → Сотовая связь → Добавить eSIM.
  2. Нажмите «Использовать QR-код» и отсканируйте QR-код из письма. Если отсканировать не получается, нажмите «Ввести данные вручную» и введите адрес SM-DP+ и код активации из того же письма.
  3. Назовите новую линию (например, «Поездка») и оставьте домашнюю SIM-карту основной линией для звонков и SMS.
  4. По прибытии выберите туристическую eSIM для сотовых данных. Если этого требует тариф, включите для этой линии «Роуминг данных».

Buying the eSIM and downloading it into mobile device worked outside the country where I need the eSIM.
If eSIM Activation (inside the mobile device) works at the distination countries - Malaysia + Japan - I yet have to find out.

I bought the eSIM for my trip to the Philippines and Indonesia. I didn't always have a good connection in Manila. On Bali the connection was perfect. I will also go to Japan and Australia and see what happens there. If things are going so well there, then I can only recommend the eSIM
