Can I make calls and send texts on the Oman eSIM?

The ETravelSim Oman eSIM is data-only. There are no incoming calls, no SMS, and no Omani phone number assigned. WhatsApp messaging works normally for text, photos, and chat with hotels and tour operators. Note that Oman has historically restricted some VoIP voice calls (WhatsApp voice calls, Skype, FaceTime audio) on local networks, so plan around messaging rather than voice for in-country calling. Keep your home SIM active for calls to your usual number and for receiving banking OTPs.
